Master in Hotel Management (MHM):
The Master in Hotel Management (MHM) program is a two-year postgraduate degree in hospitality management, consisting of four semesters with a 16-week Industrial Training component. The curriculum covers various subjects including Food and Beverage Services, Food Production Operation, Housekeeping Operations, and Front Office Operations, among others. Admission to the MHM program at Utkal University of Culture is based on merit, with applications accepted online or offline. CRAFT/CERTIFICATE COURSES:-
The course is of 1 year duration followed by 6 months of Industrial Training. Classes are conducted at the institute involving theory classes and practical laboratory training. The subjects covered are on the basis of specialization subjects like Cookery and Larder, Bakery and Patisserie, Food & Beverage Service, Restaurant Operation, Housekeeping Operation, Front Office Operation along with compulsory subjects of English, Fundamental of Computer, and Hospitality Operation. Students are tested through internal assessment tests and term end examinations.
For securing admission in the Craft/Certificate course, you should meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
- Your age should lie between 18-28 years (General Category).
- There is a 5 year relaxation for SC and ST candidates.
- You should have gained or secured at least 40% in 10th /HSC from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- You must have completed your qualification with English as a mandatory subject.
